Our Founding Attorneys

Leisa Wintz is a former family therapist who has practiced law since 2009. She is a certified family law mediator, as well as a certified parenting instructor who helps parents and families navigate the transition from teen years to adulthood. Ms. Wintz also leads domestic violence training statewide. She also serves as a guardian ad litem and is passionate about bringing a new approach to the handling of family law cases.

Nazarena Ocon Hauser earned her law degree at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale. She worked as a prosecutor for the state attorney's office of Broward County from graduation until joining Family Matters Law Group, P.A., in the summer of 2014. Her experience as a prosecutor provides her valuable insight into building successful legal strategies. Her extensive family law experience and litigation background prove invaluable for families navigating complicated divorces and Florida's child dependency system against ChildNet and DCF.
